The
Tri-County
Legal
Support
Professionals
Association
(TCLSPA) is
a
non-partisan,
non-union,
non-sectarian,
non-profit,
and
educational
association
organized on
November 30,
2006,
chartered by
NALS...the
association
for legal
professionals
and is
affiliated
with the
Mississippi
Division of
NALS. TCLSPA
conducts
monthly
membership
meetings
where
speakers
discuss
educational
topics and
provide our
members with
Continuing
Legal
Education
credits. A
short
business
meeting is
held where
the business
of the
tri-level
association
is discussed
followed by
our monthly
speaker.
Networking
is an
essential
element to
the
tri-level
association.
TCLSPA
meets on the
third
Thursday of
each month
at 6:00 p.m.
The location
varies - and
sometimes
the agenda
will include
a CLE
speaker (but
not
always).
For more
information
on our
meeting
location or
to make a
reservation
to attend,
please
contact Rachel
Rogers.

Association
meetings
provide
members the
opportunity
to meet
others with
a common
interest.
This
"networking"
helps
members
enhance
their
knowledge of
the legal
field by
getting to
know people
from
different
areas of
law. It’s
about
learning,
sharing
knowledge,
making new
friends,
renewing old
friendships
and
advancing
careers.
The
association
offers an
opportunity
to achieve
personal and
professional
goals.
Associate
membership
is available
to students,
educators,
attorneys
and judges.
There
are a few
times during
the year
where we do
not have a
speaker.
TCLSPA holds
an annual
meeting in
March where
a new slate
of officers
is elected.
Those
elected
officers are
installed
during our
April
meeting. We
have a
Christmas
social in
lieu of a
membership
meeting in
December.
TCLSPA
provides
members an
opportunity
to give back
to their
community
and to their
chapter as
well. We
participate
in
Humanitarian
projects
throughout
the year
that benefit
various
charities in
the
tri-county
area. We
also have
various Ways
and Means
projects
that take
place during
the year to
raise funds
necessary
for various
projects the
chapter is
involved in
including
educational
scholarships
and
leadership
training for
members.
Members
adhere to a
strict Code
of Ethics
stressing a
high
standard of
ethics.
Do
you want to
be a part of
a small
chapter
where
everyone
knows your
name? where
you
can make a
difference?
where your
voice can be
heard?
Then
come be a
part of our
chapter!
